Handheld Inkjet Printer (600 DPI, 12.7 mm)
A portable thermal inkjet printer with 600 DPI, 12.7 mm print height and a four-cell 2600 mAh battery. It prints dates, batch numbers, barcodes and QR codes on cartons, boxes, timber and labels without a conveyor.

Common questions
How long does the battery last?
Battery life depends on print density and usage. The four 2600 mAh cells are replaceable, so a spare set keeps the printer running.
Can it print on curved surfaces?
It works best on flat or gently curved surfaces. A guide rail or roller accessory helps keep the print head at a consistent distance.
Can I print a logo and a date together?
Yes. The message editor supports text, dates, counters, barcodes, QR codes and simple graphics.
Is it suitable for production?
It is best for low-volume coding, rework, warehouse marking and large products. For continuous production, choose the online TIJ model.
What ink cartridges are available?
Water-based and solvent cartridges in several colours, including invisible ink. We confirm the correct ink for your surface.

Coding where a conveyor cannot go
Best use cases
Handheld TIJ is suited to low-volume coding, rework, sample marking and warehouse operations. It is not a replacement for a production printer when the line runs continuously; for that, use the online TIJ model.
Getting a consistent code
Hand speed affects code quality. A guide rail or roller accessory keeps the print head at a consistent distance from the surface. Flat and gently curved products give the best result; test strongly curved or glossy surfaces before ordering.
When a handheld inkjet printer is the right tool
A handheld inkjet printer covers the work a production line cannot: rework, sample runs, oversized cartons, products already in storage and jobs where a conveyor is not justified. It uses the same TIJ cartridge as the online unit, so the code quality is the same 600 DPI and the same scannable QR codes, but the operator controls the pass.
Getting a consistent code by hand
The result depends on a steady pass and a consistent distance from the surface. Use the guide rail or the optional positioning bracket when the code has to land in the same place on every carton, and keep the cartridge clean between shifts. For long runs the operator’s wrist, not the printer, becomes the limiting factor, which is the point to move to an online unit.
Compare the online TIJ printer for conveyor work. Check ink adhesion on your substrate with our material guide, and see GS1 barcode standards if the code must be scanned downstream.
For a run that lasts all shift, the online unit is the better choice: the operator is free, and the code position stays the same.
